I have a degree in journalism. The problem right now is for the first time in American history we’re facing a fascist dictator. The guy who tried to end our democracy was Nixon. But even Nixon knew he was involved in criminal activity and the Republican Party wasn’t on his side. This time the entire Republican Party is afraid of Donald. He’s a weak, deranged person and this makes no sense to me that Republicans accept this behavior. The first amendment is being violated daily now. It seems Substack is a miracle for current times. After 250 years of freedom, I can’t imagine Americans will live with that in a long term basis.
